Job Description As Commercial Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end commercial management of panel contracts, driving value for money, performance excellence and strong contractor relationships. Key responsibilities include: Manage commercial and contractual aspects of panel contracts across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual, legislative and governance requirements. Drive value for money through robust performance monitoring, efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement. Establish, monitor and report on contractor performance, including cost, quality, productivity and delivery against agreed KPIs. Provide commercial oversight and quality assurance to ensure contract outputs meet required standards and specifications. Identify, assess and manage commercial and contractual risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies. Interpret contract conditions and provide advice on variations, claims, disputes and commercial matters. Build strong, collaborative relationships with panel contractors and internal stakeholders to support planning, delivery and issue resolution.
